RSC Ducktail Rear Spoiler for Corvette C8
We don’t just make aero kits for the sake of making your car look better. Our products are designed with the requirement that they improve performance. Our testing has shown downforce improvements with the GTC kit close to 100% greater than the stock Z51 package along with track tested improvements of ~1.5 seconds on a 1:35 lap time.
A lot of companies talk about using Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber but that’s just part of the story. We use better tooling to improve surface quality and longevity of our clear coat finish. We use decades long industry relationships to ensure our supply chain is second to none from top to bottom.
After working with Laser Scanning providers all over the United States we realized the only way to ensure the best quality fitment was to do it ourselves. We spent 3 years developing & investing hundreds of thousands of dollars into our measurement process to ensure our parts fit and install the way you expect them to.
Here at Racing Sport Concepts we take as much pride in the details you don’t notice as the ones you do. Our products often feature dozens of modifications or alternations that may not even be noticeable to the end user visually but make all the difference in the installation or final fitment of their product. With each project we complete we learn even more about how to manipulate different materials and ensure our parts are the best in the world for their application.
2 Year Warranty
We know our product is the best because our clients tell us on a regular basis. RSC has been selling Carbon Fiber since 2007 and have the experience to ensure our products hold up. That is why we are one of the few companies to actually offer a warranty against defects or flaws in our products for 2 years. After which we will still work with clients on a case by case basis to resolve their issues.
It’s important to us as well. That is why we designed the RSC C8 rear spoiler to install on C8 Z51 Models with no cutting or drilling or modification to the vehicle. The RSC Spoiler utilizes the outboard (2x) holes pre-drilled in Z51 models combined with 3M Double Sided Tape for added security. To uninstall just remove the 2 fasteners and separate the tape.

C8 Non-Z51 Package Cars
This spoiler will work on non-Z51 package cars. The only difference would be the need to drill the outboard holes for the spoilers fasteners. RSC offers 3D Printed Drill Templates for non-Z51 owners to help them drill the holes in the correct location.
Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber
Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber is a type of Carbon Fiber fabric which is pre-impregnated with resin during the manufacturing process. This creates a perfect resin distribution throughout the material.
If you can imagine Carbon Fiber as a chain; the weakest link of the chain will always fail first. With wet-layup methods or “Resin Infusion” a piece of dry Carbon Fiber cloth is laid in a mold and the resin is either painted onto the cloth, or sucked into the material by using a vacuum. The issue with these inferior methods, is the inconsistency in the resin distribution and tendency to have weak points which tend to fail.
With Pre-Impregnated Carbon Fiber, you get a much stronger part due to the lack of those weak links. In addition to the strength, you also achieve a much more beautiful weave pattern which we all love. Because the material is already impregnated with resin, it does not suffer from the distortion created by the resin infusion. Another benefit is weight, because the resin is evenly distributed by a complex manufacturing process. Only the perfect amount of Epoxy resin is used which results in less weight and more strength.
Finally, all of our parts are cured using state-of-the-art Autoclaves, enhancing the strength and shape of the part and finish quality.
